About Us
Balwyn Childcare Centre & Kindergarten is a privately owned Long Day Care Centre, where we care and educate children from the age of 6 weeks old to 6 years old. It is funded by the Department of Education and training to run a Kindergarten program for 4 -5 years old.
In Balwyn Childcare Centre, we believe in providing the children an environment where they feel safe, secure and supported. We strive to create a strong sense of belonging where the children can develop their skills and learning in a warm and nurturing home like environment.
We build partnerships with the families based on the foundation of mutual understanding of each other’s expectations and beliefs.
Programs
- Jitterbugs: musical program runs on Tuesday during school terms.
- Little big sport: soccer class runs weekly during school term.
- Local librarian visits quarterly.
- Dentist visits yearly.
- Melbourne museum visits yearly.
- Excursion occurs according to teaching program.
